I was seated promptly. Waitress Jennifer came right away to take my drink order. She broughf my drink fadt and took my dinner order. She is very pleasant, polite, and works really fast. I asked her for extra feta on my salad and she did what i asked. I ordered greek style salad and spaghetti. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Overall i would recommend this place. Why i gave 4 stars instead of 5, the black olives used on the salad were the canned type and not the kalamata variety. Makes a huge difference in the taste of the salad.

Only reason I came here was because the adjacent Holiday Inn hotel provided me with free breakfast vouchers. Believe me, that's not good enough reason to come here. VERY SLOW service. One line cook, two waitresses talking care of business. I did say slowly. I've been here 43 minutes as I write this review and still have not received anything but warm coffee! No milk in the restaurant. Coffee is warm. You'd be better off at McDonald's!

Horrible service (slow), managers that can't handle issues, and staff that don't seem to care. Food was ok but not worth the frustration/poor service. Question there training on diversity as well. I'll not be spending my money here or recommending it.

Dan at the bar is a nice guy. This place is connected to the hotel and it was convenient. 10% sales tax on alcohol sucked but that's our friends at the local/state government shining thru.

DO NOT waste your money. Service was crap and the food was worse. Go somewhere else. We went to eat at the restaurant but they had it closed off so they made you sit in the bar area. We ordered our food within 5 mins of sitting down. 45 minutes later our food came. It was awful and I didn't even eat it. The server never bothered to ask me if it was OK or if there was a problem. Oh well. They didn't seemed to really care about getting business. They turned away a family of 4 because the server didn't clean off a table for them to sit down.

I cannot understand why anyone would give this place a 5 star review. We were staying in the adjacent Holiday Inn. The hotel was one of the nicest Holiday Inns that we have stayed at--the breakfast on the other hand was one of the absolute worst. After waiting over 30 minutes for our order, I only ate the potatoes. They actually weren't bad. My husband had one of the skillets--definitely nothing to write home about. I had a BLT sandwich. Whatever they cooked the bacon on made it taste disgusting. I didn't know you could ruin the taste of bacon (except to under/over cook it). The smell was revolting. Also, my apple juice smelled funny too and had stuff floating in the bottom of the glass. Gross. As for service, it was TERRIBLE. A local was in the booth next to us and said it is always like this for breakfast. So, even though you get a discount for being a hotel guest, AVOID. You are better off to go to the Huddle House across the street. The smoke may kill you, but the food and service are much better.

Best steak I've had in Poplar Bluff. Had the New York strip topped with a load of mushrooms and the whipped potatoes. House salad was good as well. Excellent service by the entire staff.

Wonderful atmosphere and food. The chicken Roma is the best flavored chicken I've ever had.

We ate here with some friends last night and everything was perfect! The waitress was professional and helpful, the atmosphere was cozy and romantic (great for date night), the presentation of the food was beautiful and last but not least delicious food! Glad we decided to give it a try!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
